Working on the font “35mm” with DTTSP was one of my favorite design projects to date. We all seemed to share the same vision for the completed product and that made the entire process go very smoothly. It was inspired by the vintage Rolleiflex cameras of the 1930’s… and of course the iconic 35mm film – hence the name of the font. What we ended up with was something easily usable and flexible to fit within a wide variety of needs. While staying clean and simple, it still has a handcrafted feel that gives it a sort of humanity, rather than a cold, digital feel. Working with DTTSP allowed me to have full artistic freedom and to carve out time in my busy schedule to create a font that I actually wanted to make. I would happily look to DTTSP for more artistic projects and collaborations in the future.
